KCS Coach Reference Guide
The role of a KCS Coach is to support knowledge workers in their quest for KCS proficiency. KCS Coaches are change agents.
Coaching is the way KCS gets baked into the organization: it is the opportunity to make KCS personal. Coaching sessions provide knowledge workers with visibility to their impact, answers to their questions, and responses to their misconceptions and objections.
At its heart, coaching is a confidential partnership to help you grow. A good coach creates a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore solutions, push past limitations, and hold yourself accountable. They’re not here to dwell on mistakes or missteps but to amplify your strengths and abilities and help you be your best self.

KCS Coaches help knowledge workers put KCS training into practice in a way that creates value for knowledge workers, the customer, and the organization. This guide is designed for people who are in the role of a KCS Coach. For more information about building a coaching program, please see the KCS Practices Guide.
The speed at which organizations realize the benefits of KCS is directly related to the speed at which the Solve Loop behaviors become a habit for the knowledge workers. Coaching is how we increase the speed of adoption and maximize the benefits.
